Default Relocating to Granville...

I just got a job in Granville and I need a motel to live in for a month or two until I get an apartment. Is the Pine Grove Motel decent? Any feedback would be appreciated. I know it's slim pickings in the area. Thanks!

Your best bet would to head into Queensbury/Glens Falls area, about 17-20 min south of Granville. They have all of the big name hotels if your into that. Otherwise, the motels in the area are not my cup of tea.

Wow, I just reread your question and boy do I feel foolish. The motels in the area, at least in my experience are just as expensive as the larger chains and are outdated to boot. I cannot say how the Pine Grove motel is, as I've only stayed in the ones in Whitehall and Fort Ann, a stones throw from Granville, which is why I recommend trying to get a weekly or monthly rate at like the Econo Lodge or one of the other hotels in the area.
