Default LNA/CNA Classes in the Capitol Region-free or paid

I've been searching around warren county and many nursing homes told me they only accept a few students each class period out of 100's that apply. Since the odds are low, I was curious if anyone knew of free classes in exchange for work or perhaps paid classes in the Capitol Region in NY.

Does anyone know of any place? I've searched online and can't find a place. Thanks!

I would suggest just calling all the Long Term Facilities you can find and ask their Human Resources, Nursing or Education departments. They should be listed in the phonebook. I do RN Supervision in Ulster County part time and I know first hand that most of these places are pathetically understaffed and run classes every few months. I live about 50 miles south of Albany so I don't have any specific place in mind to refer you to. I am sure they are out there. If you have any experience, check with hospitals too. When I worked at Albany Med, our nursing assistants didn't have to be certified. Good Luck To you!
