Default looking for expert tax accountant
I need to find a really good tax accountant in the Albany Saratoga area. One that is familiar with partial year state returns (NY and NC). I withdrew a 401k balance right before I moved from NC, and both NC and NY appear to be saying I need to pay taxes on the entire amount rather than apportion the amount between the two states based on the time I spent in each.

Any help/guidance appreciated!
