Default Info on a Motel

I've waited too long to book room for Travers Stakes @ Saratoga and don't want to spend $400 per night
Anyone know about the Robinhood Motel on Rte 50 South in Saratoga

It's one of them old ones which is ok as long as it isn't a flea bag place

My understanding is that it is clean but no amenities. There is a new Comfort Inn in Wilton, recently opened. Have you checked there?

No I have not and Choice hotels ( Comfort being one) is my 1st pick.
I did book an Econo Lodge in Glen Falls, I'll have to check out Wilton and if it works switch my reservations

Thanks for the tip & responding

Fearringtonflash is on a distinguished road
Default motels near SS

There are also several motel along route 9 near Malta--the Shamrock, Roosevelt, and a couple whose names I can't remember right offhand. May be worth a try.

The Roosevelt seems as though it would be a bit more expensive
