It depends on what type of lifestyle you want. Albany is a large city, where Burlington is a small city. Totally different.

I agree, you can't compare the two. I think a better question would be Saratoga Springs or Burlington.

Depends on what you wanted. Personally I'd choose Albany since it has more of a city atmosphere. But Burlington is an awesome city with plenty to offer... just not for me to live in.
