Hi,
May be relocating rather abruptly with 11th and 8th graders. Need high school with strong programs for academically-oriented kids and good support for helping new students adjust.
Good college counseling and admissions very important. How is Saratoga Springs? I know it is not the most highly rated district but I am guessing that with Skidmore profs in the area, maybe the really academic kids get good offerings??

Thanks for input!

Thanks for the responses. I will look into Schuylerville.
Thanks also for the data link-- I have seen those scores. They are helpful but I also was looking for first-hand experience. Starting to lean toward Saratoga Springs SD but have to visit.

Don't underestimate Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, Scotia and Shenendahowa too.

I need to put my two-cents in for Ballston Spa. It has a really good AP and University in High School program, if your kids are at that level. The offerings enabled me to graduate undergrad a semester early. My friend went to both Shenendahoah and Ballston Spa for HS, and she thought Ballston Spa was definitely better with the overall smaller student body and class offerings. Both of us are now at law school, so they must have done something right! Ballston Spa School District
