I would like to talk to someone who knows Amsterdam's history. I am specialy interested in learning about the local country and western band, Dusty Miller and the Colorado Wranglers, which included Mary Thomas.
Thank you.
Not sure what you are looking for. The only history I know for sure is that of Thomas Bunn. He was sheriff of Montgomery County years ago. He died in 1883, three years after he built my house. Thomas St and Bunn St were named after him. He had a large family as well that were involved in a lot of real estate and banking in Montgomery County.
Thank you for your reply. I am interested in anyone who was in Amsterdam in the late 50's and early 60's who remembers the country and western band known as dusty Miller and the Colorado Wranglers. Mary Thomas sang with them and I am interested in obtaining any information I can that pertains to that.
I would like to contact Dusty Miller's Grandson if he could respond to my email. Thank you.
