We're getting married in Albuquerque this September, and we'd like to rent a large house for a few days in which to stay and hold the ceremony/reception. That way I can have access to a kitchen, and hopefully the stress will be less.

I'm currently checking the vacation rental websites as well as craigslist, but thought I might as well ask here as well - does anyone have any recommendations, either for properties or places to find one?

Ideally I think something with three bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, and space for possibly eight round tables would be fantastic.

Many thanks!

That would work if they'd let us use the kitchens - I'm hoping to self-cater.

When we came househunting during the summer last year, we stayed at Cinnamon Morning Bed & Breakfast in a guesthouse that included a full kitchen.
Albuquerque Vacation Rental, New Mexico Family Vacation Spot (http://www.cinnamonmorning.com/guesthouse.html - broken link)

Plus the owner is super friendly and helpful.

We were married at Hacienda Vargas in Algodones. It's beautiful!

Here is a link to their website:

Try VRBO.com - they have some properties the size you are looking for that can be rented by the day/week/month.

I'll check the Hacienda Vargas - thank you!

And the Pool House was what started me on this trek - They'd be perfect, but they're booked for my dates (which are a bit inflexible because of family travel) - Good luck with them!
