If anyone has ever been to the Buca di Beppo in the Albuquerque Uptown area, you may have noticed that it is often quite full. It is my favorite Italian restaurant in the area, and I always go there for my birthday. However, since I live in Rio Rancho, I personally think there should be another location that is closer to where I live.

Personally, I think a good place for a new Buca di Beppo location would be at the future Village at Rio Rancho. However, there could be some other good locations as well.

How about a more authentic and independently owned Italian restaurant instead?

What Karma said. I think that is probably the most unauthentic Italian food I have ever eaten, I would easily choose the Macaroni Grill or Olive Garden over that place.

Try Nana's on San Mateo & Comanche if you want independently owned.

Kind of off subject ( but not really )...is there anywhere in town that actually serves risotto? Or makes REAL Bolognese ( understanding that it really does not count unless served with tagliatelle)?

Yes, let's encourage non-locally owned chain restaurants with boil in the bag sauces and pre-prepared everything to take over the west side. It will drive away the local places and make our area look like any other suburb in the country.

Have you actually ever tried Pasta House in Rio Rancho?

It is our favorite as well. Not all restaurants are authentic, and certainly they may not be, but they are still yummy...I used to love Macarroni Grill but got tired of it...

Hope the company is listening to you, will build one in RR and then maybe they will come to NWA. We have almost every other major chain.
