Yeah it looks really nice inside. Also considering it has wifi, and all the utilities paid for I figure it's a steal. I'm excited to move to that area now.

no foot traffic because of all the cars, getting to Walgreens and Jubilation should be a challenge to say the least. So if you love the smell of gas I'm sure utilities and wi-fi are well worth it since it seems your spending your time in doors! Good Luck.

Don't be a Debbie Downer. It's not rush hr 24/7.

Sorry it's just a dump of a neighbor! Doesn't have to be 24/7

Some people will complain about anything. That area is within walking or biking distance of UNM, Nob Hill, and Sunflower. It's one of the nicest, safest neighborhoods in Albuquerque!

Umm, the area we are talking about in not a dump by any stretch of the imagination, and although Lomas/Carlisle/Monte Vista is a wide and busy intersection, it is actually one of the most pedestrian and bicycle friendly areas of the city with plenty of bike routes and quiet, leafy, well-kept, beautifully gardened residential streets.

Default Summer Rental

I'm assuming you will have a car? If you don't want to drive much,
I would suggest looking for a rental or apartment Near ABQ uptown,
Louisiana and I-40, there are apartments that back up to Trader Joes-
it has a pool, and you are walking distance to shops and restaurants.

That's a nice area. It puts you walking/biking distance to the Co-op Grocery, Smiths Grocery, Nob Hill bars and Restaurants, the University, and of course, Jubilation. If you have a car, it's pretty easy access to I-40 and thus, the entire world of New Mexico. I live in this area, and love it. If you like public transit, it's alright in the area... Quick jog to Central for the main bus lines and there's a couple on Lomas and Carlisle as well.

Definitely keep a bike, though. It's my personal favorite way to get around this section of Albuquerque. Welcome to town.
