Chipotle = "Mexican" food for white people.

I'm joking of course (and I'm married to a white guy so I'm not racist), but, seriously, their "Mexican" food isn't any good. For better Mexican fast food we like Taco Tote. Not the best ever, but certainly better than Chipotle.

Anyway, onto burgers. Best burgers in ABQ (in my opinion)

- bison burger at BURGER BOY (Cedar Crest, not quite ABQ but not so far out either)
- bison burger at SPINN'S (good fries and sandwiches too)

The regular ground beef burgers at either place will do just fine as well, but the bison is much more tender and flavorful.

Tim's Place has a good burger too and it's a decent size for the price. You just have to make it into the doors before the close at 2:30 pm.

Also like Five Guys when I'm in the area.

Always on the look out for a good hamburger, so if you have any suggestions, shoot.

Chopstix is underrated. I haven't tried it as much as I would like, but I had the pickled kohlrabi with pork and chives, from the wall menu, and it was very good, in addition to seeming pretty authentic to me. Chopstix is not totally consistent, but I've had some pretty good food from there, and I bet if I explored the menu further, I'd find more. The Dan Dan noodle is pretty good, though when I had that somewhere else before I don't remember it being so liquid. Also, the homestyle (not house style) tofu is quite good.

Maybe if the customer service were a lot more. . . didactic, more customers would find out what the restaurant has to offer. Then again, maybe they are wise to just let people alone who may want to get the old familiar American style dishes.

While I'm at it, I don't think I've posted about Tia Betty Blues. I love the breakfast tacos. I didn't expect to, since I'm used to the breakfast burrito idea now, but breakfast tacos seemed like an odd idea. The blue corn tortillas really help give them extra flavor. On the other hand, I was a little disappointed by how the blue corn flavor got lost when I bought the hot version of their blue corn waffle boat. It was still good though. I might try it again with green instead of red and see if I taste more of the waffle flavor. The carne adovada has varied on different days. It's never been bad, but some days it's been stronger and more delicious than others. Sometimes it seems like the chile flavor hasn't sunk in enough. The posole just seemed okay, but honestly, posole is one of the New Mexican foods I haven't really fallen in love with. Service has been friendly and prompt (including for takeout orders). The wide-ranging soda selection is fun, but I'm not sure it's good that it tempts me to add a sugary drink when I normally don't have soda with my meals.

Also, the Vietnamese sandwich (and more) place, Banh Mi Coda, is great! My favorites are the tofu and the roasted pork. The snacks are good too, not that I need sweets.

I clicked on the link and it said that I might also like The Olive Garden. Well, to be honest, it is just an advert, but it did seem a bit funny. I love the menu! Maybe on the next trip.

Everything I've heard regarding Las Cazuelas is not good.

Interesting... I wonder how/why they calculate that, it's their Restaurant sponsors and looks like it's just random... My wife and I swore off Olive Garden from unpleasant past experiences in three different states...

We prefer Macaroni Grill.

Does Las Cazuelas serve free chips and salsa? I can't have Mexican without that!

Doesn't technically answer your question, but if I were in RR and wanted pizza, I'd skip over one town and go to village pizza in Coralles.
