Your favorite ABQ restaurant?
I have to do local arrangements for a conference meeting in Albuquerque in November and I'm hoping to compile a list of good restaurants for conference attendees to drive to (the conference is downtown). I know what MY favorite ABQ restaurants are, but hope to hear what yours are.
Thanks!

That's easy. Frontier on Central Ave, next to UNM. No contest.

My favorite also, but be aware: no alcohol is served
(plenty of inebriated patrons - depending on time of day/night).

My favorite for impressing someone from out of town.

Not sure how many are attending your conference, of if you're planning on large groups going to a particular restaurant at any given time. But some of the restaurants in the Downtown/Nob Hill/Old Town area I would recommend would be: - Scalo (Italian)
- Il Vicino (Wood oven pizza/on-site brewery)
- Yanni's (Greek)
- Tucanos (Brazilian grill)
- Restaurant Antiquity (Steak/Seafood/Chicken-classy/romantic/intimate setting. Reservations recommended)
I'll also throw out Sadie's on North 4th (New Mexican), a local favorite.

Here are some of my favorites:
• Abuelita's for NM food in Bernalillo
• The Range for breakfast in the a.m. and live entertainment in the p.m. in Bernalillo
• The Mule Barn on 2nd near Paseo del Norte for cheap, tasty eats
• Calico Cafe on 4th for Sunday breakfast
• Bandido Hideout on Central down from the Frontier for Mexican food

I loved the open faced hamburger con queso at Sadie's. It was about 10 bucks, but it was easily enough for 2 people. That said, I hadn't had a bite that day when I ate it, and I still struggled to finish it.

Here are a few of my favorites:
o Le Café Miche
o Café Voila
o Savoy
o Marcello’s Chophouse
o Vernon’s Steakhouse
o Scalo
o Noda’s
o Chama River Brewery
o Turtle Mountain Brewery
o El Pinto
o Sadies
o Yanni’s
o Whisque
Some of these I like more for the atmosphere than the food, but they are all enjoyable places.

Chap you are crazy!! Scalo is way overpriced, low quantity of foods, and not really THAT tasty :P
Frontier, Saggios, Kelly's Brewery (they have THE BEST green chile cheese fries in the state), Sade's, Garcias Kitchen, Anna Purna (if you like vegan/vegetarian foods), and a few others that I really can't think of right now...
