I like the views ( for now ) of the volcanoes, the Volcano Vista HS district, the size of the home ( we want 3000 sf + ) , the standard features in the houses.
We're pretty much committed to one house now, unless we back out soon and then we'll lose some $$.
My brother lives in that community. A old KB Homes neighborhood, he lives in a KB Home.
However, I hear DR Horton is doing well with the transition, I personally do not like the quality of DR Horton homes. Having lived in one in Las Vegas they are the real meaning of cookie-cutter. But they have some nice floor-plans I will tell ya that.
And the schools in thar area are new and nice, VVHS is a great school.
I have seen the pool, and it is a nice add to that community for sure. Seems real 'family friendly'.
I saw a Real Estate program on TV a few months ago which mentioned this community. From what they showed of it on the program, it looks and sounds like a nice place to live. From what I've seen on some Real Estate websites, it looks like some of the homes there are more expensive than in other parts of that area of the Westside, though.
Does anyone have experience with the homes in that subdivision? What are your thoughts? We are thinking about building a DR Horton home but cannot find "reviews". I saw one post on here but it hasn't been updated for a while.
I live in the same subdivision, although mine is a KB Home, then they left town and DR Horton took over. I feel as if my house is better quality than my next door neighbors whom have a DR Horton home. But, I absolutely love the area. What do you need to know, is the question.
Seems like it will be a great community for our family! I just hope it is a nice quiet community =)
