Does anyone know how long closings might take in the Albuquerque area?
Been checking out all the posts here and I must say I have to overlook a lot in trying to get to the heart of where to live in the Albuquerque area. In the meantime, I've been renting for a year and it's not helping my finances. I have just about decided on Albuquerque now I need some info on closings. If I found something on my first visit would it take a long time to close. I know it depends on a lot but say everything was in order, pre-qualification, etc. how long would one have to wait to close on a home?

Closing usually depends on your mortgage company. The faster your mortgage funds, the faster you will close on your property. The latter primarly depends on your credit history. A mortgage broker could give you the details of your specific situation. Perfect situation you could close in a month.

Reason: great homepage but including it as a signature in every post is against our T.O.S. Sorry.

There are yet other variables, including the terms of the contract and the title/title company. If there are no clouds on the title or other problems, your mortgage funding will determine how quickly you can close.
