One of their associates told me the same thing, but that it would be in Nob Hill. I certainly hope it is Downtown as that would go a long way in their revitalization efforts.

The WINROCK town-center is going to be one of the largest out door malls in the country! i cant wait!!

I used to manage a store in Coronado Center. The Target is going in where Macy's used to be on the west end facing the food court. It's been in the books for quite awhile. Dillard's is what's considered an 'anchor' store and I'm sure Winrock's management (PruWinrock) has made some serious concessions to keep them long enough to see the transformation come to fruition. Last I heard though, everything is on hold due to the rising construction material costs to allow for re-evaluation. The only thing Winrock's been good for lately is serving as a sound stage.

I hope bradly is correct and Winrock is resurrected and brought back to life in a new revamped form. I really do! I think a thriving Winrock would actually *help* ABQ Uptown and Coronado...not hurt...and could really jack ABQ up a few notches on the retail front. Would be intriguing.
