Default Need brake job-advice for a newbie to Albuquerque

I am a newbie to Albuquerque and will need a brake job including rotors probably in the near future. Looking for advice on an honest place that will do it at a decent price. I live in the NE part but work over by San Mateo and Jefferson. What kind of price do you think I would be looking at for a Nissan Altima that needs pads and rotors?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Bobby Joe's Auto Shop on Quincy - best and most ethical mechanic in town. They'll do right by you, charge you reasonably, and never do any work on your car that it doesn't need. Really good people. Tell them Christina sent you.

Can you prove that?

I'm a big fan of two mechanics in town. One is for German cars only and the other is "The Mechanic" on Comanche and Morris. I was referred there when I first came to town, they have been more than fair with me. You don't have to tell them anybody sent you, they treat everyone with equal fairness.

Although I have only tried them in Santa Fe, Brake Masters does a good job, gets straight to the point, and usually gives out discounts (or they have to me). Plus, there is a lifetime warranty on brakes.

Brake Masters are franchises. There are some good ones and some not so good ones. I have had good luck with them in four cases out of five. It took 'Commando Candy' (my wife) about a year and a few hundred dollars to get issues properly taken care of...

Brake masters & Just brakes will always try and convince you need more work then what is necessary. Be careful with them.

Actually, I can. Their establishment received the Most Ethical Small Businessman Award a few years ago. Dinner with the Governor (Richardson at the time), the whole deal. They're just wonderful people.
