Default Luxury Townhomes, zero lot line homes, or condos for rent, NE heights

I have searched the forums and everyone apartment hunting has been looking for a bargain. My friend is looking for something on the opposite end of the spectrum. I know nothing about rentals. He wants to rent for a year while he gets to know the community. He prefers something reasonably near Tramway/Montgomery, give or take a few miles up or down Tramway. His kids will visit, so he needs a 3 bed room place. He wants high end, top of the line with the best amenities, but it has to be kid friendly. I don't think he has a pet.

I don't think cost is a consideration at all. Any suggestions?

The apartments at High Desert (Tramway & Spain/Academy) are probably the nicest apartments along that stretch, though 3bdrm apartments aren't terribly common. Renting a house would probably be a lot more kid friendly.

Do you mean Broadstone?

Yes, I suggested renting a home but he doesn't want any maintenance at all right now beyond wiping off a counter top! He doesn't want to have to even be responsible for hiring people to do stuff! If he could, he'd live in a Hotel.

Yeah, Broadstone High Desert might be what you're looking for. It's a nice place and kept up well. Very close to the trails and open space. Located midway between an Albertson market on one side and a Smiths on the other.

It ain't cheap by ABQ standards, so no dirtbags living here. Mostly professionals. Probably one of the more expensive places in ABQ. Seems like a lot of kids around, but not an obnoxious amount. They accept pets, if that's an issue, but charge a little more per month. In my experience the management has been real professional. It's a big place so it has two pools. The exercise center is pretty good, so you don't need a gym membership.

They have two, three bedroom models, the Anasazi and Hohokam. The Hohokam has an attached two car garage. The things come with central air/heat, stove, microwave, decorative gas fireplace, refrigerator and washer/dryer. Some of the units have killer views of either the Sandias of the city, but your mileage may vary. The Comcast cable internet service to the development has been outstanding, despite gripes about Comcast in other parts of town. VERY fast and surprisingly reliable.

Here's their floorplans:

If you're looking high end, this is certainly it.

Broadstone was one of my choice when I was moving to ABQ, but wound up living in the old ABQ High Condos.
