Hi There,
I live in Northern Meadows Rio Rancho and I am trying to figure out which is the best coverage. I want to be able to talk on the phone in my house without dropping the call at least once. Anyway if you have a cell phone and live in Northern Meadows or North Rio Rancho could you leave a comment about your provider and your coverage and what plan you have maybe. Thanks so much!

I'd say the best is still Verizon, although AT&T has greatly improved in recent years. The worst would probably be Sprint.

My wife has been using Verizon for 6+ years throughout Rio Rancho, including the new City Hall area down to Kirtland AFB and ABQ area, with excellent coverage.

Default Best cell phone carrier in Rio Rancho

New Mexico here I come!

My house is in the Northern Meadows development (Unser & King, way the hell up here: Rio Rancho NM - Google Maps), and since its kinda in the boonies, would I be better off with Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, or T-Mobile?

Thanks all!

Verizon appears to cover all of Rio Rancho for us. That includes Northern Meadows and City Hall...

I have ATT and it works just fine. Now between Vaughn and Roswell it sucks.

At least AT&T roams in between Vaughn and Roswell, most of the way Verizon has no coverage at all until you get to Roswell.

I switched from Sprint to Verizon three years ago when we moved to Rio Rancho/Bernalillo. Before we moved we had visited and my Sprint phone had gaps in coverage in Rio Rancho and elsewhere in the area. Folks on this forum seemed to favor Verizon, although AT&T also appeared to get good marks.

A lot can happen in 3 years in the phone industry, but I've had nothing but good experiences in the ABQ area and elsewhere in NM with Verizon.
