Being from San Antonio (where TC's began) i was very happy to see them here in ABQ when I moved here.
I use to frequent the one in SA that started it all in 1978.

As for commercials, to this day I still laugh at the ones they had in the 90's with Sean Elliott, ex NBA Spur player. He was there spokesman for a while.

I have not been to Taco Cabana in ABQ, but used to visit them when I traveled to San Antonio. Great, and quick food. I'm sure ill visit them here if its convieneint to where/when I'm hungry.
