Default ATV Paths? In/Around Albuquerque?

hello all!

I thought this would be the best place to ask this question. Are there any places to take my 4wheeler? im looking for more of a flat sandy area, rather than a mountainy terrain. I saw a few people driving down a dirt road in rio rancho with their 4wheelers in the back . but i didnt follow them. i wast quite sure where they were going.

Hopefully someplace where the cops wont bother us and we can meet others with the same interest.

thanks! im sure i will get the help that I need with you guys

For what your asking i see lots on the West Mesa area of the Abq/Rio Rancho metro . Try going on Paseo Volcan north or I-40 as i've seen lots of dirt bikers out that way. Also might want to go out west on Southern Blvd in Rio Rancho and all the way out of the city limits as there are areas out there too i'm sure....

Southern Blvd is actually the road i was on watching everyone pass me with their 4 wheelers in their trucks.

i am concerned with accidently ending up on private or government property. do you know if everything is well marked when you leave the city limits?

Thank you for the Advice on the West Mesa.

Maybe tomorrow i will head out on Southern Blvd
