Funny, this installer was from Home Depot! Anyways, the installer admitted fault and their insurance company is covering everything. I am able to use my OWN contractor and I'm getting upgraded cabinets and kitchen flooring. Score. Thanks, anyways

One of my favorites is the Elena Gallegos Picnic Area. It overlooks the city and offers a great visual introduction to the Sandias. There are a number of trailheads that start there and take you into the Sandia's. Great place to see the sunset.

There is so much open space to explore here. There is an excellent book named "Day Trips from Albuquerque" that gives great tips on tons of places to explore as well. You are in a very good place in ABQ if you love the outdoors!
