For those of you who haven't seen our newest shopping center, check out their new webpage. The new site is leaps and bounds better than the old one, and you can see beautiful photos of the center.

I didn't know the place existed, so you can imagine my surprise (and delight) when I accidentally discovered it last month while randomly driving around town.

Can't wait to move and shop

Default New Retail in ABQ Uptown

Urban Outfitters will be opening in November in Nob Hill next to Objects of Desire. I know many folks would prefer to keep national chains out of Nob Hill but I think this one makes sense.

Albuquerque's second Trader Joes will be opening during phase II at our new lifestyle center ABQ Uptown. Now if we can get one on the Westside?

Speaking of ABQ Uptown . . . .

Someone once said that Albuquerque is now a city, not a town, now that it has an Apple Store.

I don't know whether this is good or bad.

I LOVE my Mac. An Apple store is a good thing.

Prior to visiting, discovering that ABQ had an Apple Store DID seriously change my perception of ABQ. So yes, it can be a very good thing. And wouldn't you rather have more Mac users around? We're nicer than PC users.........

Just kidding.

Maybe.

Awesome full retail update, finmqa1!!! Thanks!

Do you have any idea when that second TJ's will be opening? (I know you said Phase II, but without being "on the ground" currently there, I am unsure when that generally will be).

I'm guessing in early 2009. They weren't specific with that announcement.

ziaAirmac bitterly relates:

> ... local socialite jam her sixty thousand dollar German SUV into a space ...
> ... [that was ziaAirmac's] ...

Heh. You can't get around a highly developed sense of entitlement.

I always park way the heck away and walk the extra minute or so because I try to reduce my stress level wherever and whenever I can. The walk, of course, is good for me.

Sitting ... waiting for someone to sit ... wait for someone else to pull out of a place that is three spaces down from the next open space just makes me stressed.

If there are not at least ten open spaces between my car and the next car then I have parked too close.
