My wife and I found out we are expecting this summer and we are looking for a Bump sign in Albq to take a picture next to. Has anyone seen one in town?

Thanks in advance

I can't think of any exact locations, but I would try residential side streets. I think there might be some on Copper near San Mateo, but that's about as specific as I can make it, and even that I'm not 100% sure of. Maybe Campus, too, which Copper flows into. That might even be what I'm thinking of.

Recommend using the street view service from the company that begins with a g and moving the pointer around to entrances to residential areas that look like good shortcuts.

Unfortunately, a single "bump" is pretty uncommon. Most warning signs say "speed bumps".

"Bump" may be more findable in the boonies, actually. Road construction is probably the most likely place to find it, but locating it will be a challenge. Try a highway construction signage company (I believe there's one on the south side of Menaul just W of I25). They may get a kick out of providing you with an unused sign.

Good luck; let us know what you find.

Zoidberg, you can say google.com on this site. It is not one of the competing sites. There are over a 1,000 instances of google.com on this site.

I have taken a lot of pictures of signs in the area over the years. I have never noticed a "bump" sign. There is someone in the city government who keeps track of signs. Try the ABQ roads department...

I could probably change the wording on a picture of a sign for you, if you
take the picture you want...

Actual picture:

Default Thread Bump

There are currently temporary signs that just say "BUMP" on Louisiana, between Central and Zuni, in connection to roadwork being done. I do not know how long they will last.
