My family and I will be driving through Santa Rosa NM end of September on a cross country move from CT. Our day four stop has us spending the night in Santa Rosa. Anyone have suggestions on certain hotels? Is Santa Rosa a safe city as far as my haul trailer or roof cargo carrier being outside over night? Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I wouldn't be too worried about staying at one of the major chain motels in town. Santa Rosa has a good selection of them - La Quinta, Best Western, Holiday Inn, Travelodge, Hampton Inn, Motel Six etc.

We've always stayed at the Comfort Inn and been pleased. If she is still there lady that does the breakfast buffet is super nice! Never had any trouble. Have a good trip!
