Not a fan of spiders, but I don't want to kill it either. I've not seen one like it. It is about 2 inches long and has thin tan and brown stripes or tan and gray stripes. I think the stripes are on the body and legs.

It's under a glass right now. Frankly, I'm too scared of it to try to catch it and move it outside. Yes I'm a weenie!

Any takers?

I'm near Juan Tabo and Lomas.

I'll be home all day tomorrow! And probably wide awake all night tonight too.

I think it is either a wolf spider or funnel spider.

Maybe it's all the rain, or cooler temperatures, but suddenly every spider on our property wants to be in the house! Gack! I've escorted several to the door, but two I had to smash as they were Black Widows. Brrr.

Same here, Maggie! I've seen several in the house and outside as well. Fortunately they have all been your more average 1/2" sized spiders so I've left them alone. I did finally get the Big Guy outside. Whew. No Black Widows so far, but I did see another (much smaller) wolf spider. Yikes!
