Smile itinerary/driving tour?

Hi -- I have a job interview coming up where I have a two-day weekend to "see Albuquerque" on my own, to decide whether or not to move my family there. I want to see middle-income neighborhoods (including rental areas) east of I 25 and north of I 40, as well as those near Presbyterian Hospital (where I would be working). I'd also like to see some of the parks, shopping, cultural amenities, etc. And anything that makes ABQ special. So if you were going to plan an itinerary/driving tour for me, how would you go about it? Since it will be on the weekend, I won't get to see traffic patterns, but nothing's perfect

Thanks!

Take a look at 4 Hills, Tanoan Country Club, etc. Check out Old Town. Check out the Tram (worlds longest aerial tramway). I would recommend seeing UNM. If it was in season, I would say watch an Isotopes Game (AAA Baseball affiliate of the Florida Marlins).

Check out ABQ Uptown, Coronado Mall, etc. There is a lot to see. If you are interested in Museums, we have plenty. Art Galleries, we have lots of those. Make sure you eat some New Mexican food. Perhaps El Pinto (atmosphere), Sadie's (food), Gardunos (Local making its way National), etc. You have to eat at the Frontier Restaurant (on Central and Cornel) across from UNM!!!!

The city has a lot of parks, so check out Heritage Hills, and perhaps the housing around that park. Check out Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, High Schools etc. Look at North Star, Double Eagle, Dennis Chavez elementary. Check out Desert Ridge and Eisenhower Middle Schools. Look at La Cueva, Sandia, El Dorado high schools. Check out the Botanic Garden and the Aquarium. We have an excellent zoo. Walk the Bosque (pronounced Bos-key) Trail. Eat at Saggios, Dions, Marios, etc.

Best of Luck!!!!!!
