ABQ vet recommendation (Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Rio Rancho: prices, best, money)

I am visiting here for a few months and have no vet yet for my long-haired dachshund. He needs to see a vet NOW. I have little money til the 3d of the month. Any recommendations for a vet who could see the dog and not charge and arm and a leg?

Your best bet for walk-in visit would probably be any of the Banfield services at PetsMart stores.

I'd highly recommend Manzano Animal Clinic on Juan Tabo. But just google albuquerque veterinarians, and the google reviews are pretty accurate.

I'm late to this thread but wanted to recommend Dr. Andrews for others that might be searching. She's wonderful, mobile and charges drastically less than other vets because she has little overhead. Absolutely love her.

VCA on Montgomery just past Eubank. Open 24 hours. Drove my cat down from Santa Fe... they saved his life!

I was there with other people that had driven a great distance. Apparently they have a reputation for being very good. I'm very grateful to them. No complaints.
