Glad you enjoyed it. A lot of the scouts I talked to still liked their video games but still made time for the outdoors.

Neat idea, though gruesome, for a hike. I may have to do this.
Off topic I know, but This makes me think of another once-famous plane crash.......Mike Todd's (Liz Taylor's husband, Google it, kids....) near Grants. I live near there and always wonder where exactly it was.

Have you tried Google Earth? They have tons of info boxes you can select or deselect in order to have them enabled.

No luck on Google. You made me curious. Best info I found was it was in the Zunis on land belonging to family of the old man who corralled the Ice Caves and Bandera crater. He said he finally buried the depression cause he was sick of people hunting for artifacts.

It was a pretty gruesome hike...for me at least. Without the scouts in not sure I'd ever be able to stay on the trail. It forks off many times because people will beer off the trail when it gets wet.
