Hello,

I've been looking for a job for almost 2 years, but unfortunately, my quest for a job is not ending. I have had several interviews but I have not been hired yet, supposedly because of my stutter. Does anyone know if there are companies that hire stutterers? What do these hiring managers think of themselves? Am I not human just because I stutter?

What kind of work are you looking for?

I work for one of NM's largest companies. One of the engineers down the hall from me stutters.

I'm currently a college student, so preferably a minimum wage job (retail, fast food, restaurants, etc).

Do you have an IEP?

Have you considered contacting Vocational Rehab? They assist those with disabilities to find jobs.

Do you receive speech therapy? Perhaps reach out to the speech therapist for assistance.
