This is the second time this woman drove up to our house asking us if we wanted to do a survey (older woman claiming she's with the university of Chicago). We're the only one in the neighborhood she comes to. She parks outside, walks up, then asks if we want to participate. Not interested, I had to tell her no six times! "May I ask why you don't want to take the survey?", not interested. "Are you sure you don't want to think about it?", I told you I'm not interested. Then she waits in our driveway for five to ten minutes before leaving while filling out forms. Any chance this is some sort of scam?
Weird. I would try to stay away from the lady. Sounds strange. I would think she is up to something. Might be a good idea to talk to police about it even though your information is sketchy.
I've been getting called a lot lately and I think they have all been from one organization. They don't leave messages (and I almost never answer my phone). Last night I answered and they said they were calling from the US census to follow up on something they had sent out. I hadn't received anything in the mail and the whole thing felt off to me so I cut the person off and hung up. Also, they started the call (as another person had done when I answered before) asking if I was the gentleman of the household or something like this. What federal agency uses that sort of language in 2016? They want me to confirm my address, and that's when I told them to try a directory and hung up.
