My little digital camera couldn't do justice to the clouds today, sorry. Looked like a front moving in over the Sandias this afternoon, but alas, just teaser clouds (they look like rain, they get here, then poof! they're gone and no rain - teasers). This is from the parking lot at the Bear Canyon Trailhead.

Default Spring flowers in Albuquerque

I posted some pictures in and around our yard of visible blooms.
Spring flowers in Albuquerque
It's nothing special, but can satisfy the curiosity of some people.

At the bottoms is a preview of things to come. I've been taking daily pictures of a Yucca and a Century Plant. The Yucca blooms haven't changed much in the past week, but the Century plant has gone from about three feet hight to about seven feet.

I may be taking pictures for the next couple of weeks (however long) till the flowers unfold. Then I'll assemble them into an animated view.

For those who don't know what a century plant is:

Default Yukon's Pictures: Like the mountains around San Luis Obispo

I love these pictures .. they really help me start falling in love to Abq before I even move there .. the mountains' terrain seems very similar to my hometown, so that is a nice similarity!

Thanks so much for the pictures. They also help my friends and family visualize my future home.
