hi all

I am moving from Santa Fe to Albuquerque in the next few months. I have been living in Santa fe for the past year and without saying too much, it is just not for me and quite frankly, too expensive to even remain here. I wanted to get input from those who might have lived in both...it seems abq is a very different "beast" if you will Seems like they are not even in the same state from what I have seen lol...

I worry about the crime and poverty in Albq however I am miserable in Santa Fe and it is just not a good match for me. I love the fact that it is a bit warmer in albq (though I am wondering if you really "feel" the difference in weather...and I love that there is tons more to do and much more affordable but I do know albq is not without its shortcomings.

Thanks for any input

Yes, you definitely feel that Albuquerque is warmer year-round. So it is a trade-off, you will get both hotter summers and milder winters here.
