According to today's news, if the Nat. Transportation Safety Board had its way, there will be one day be a federal law regulating all forms of talking/texting while driving (including the hands free versions).

For just the first 11 months of 2005, 1,898 cell phone tickets were issued
2,141 tickets had been issued for a 12-month period through March 2006.
