Can someone direct me to a doctor that practices alternative medicine?
I have been struggling with major post nasal drip, nasal polyps, and overblown allergies since September. Im about to explode. Ive seen three doctors. The answers are always surgery and steroids.....neither of which sounds appealing. The allergies are getting better but I cant keep living on antihistamines and a neti pot. Does anyone know of a doctor that practices alternative medicine or an herbologist (dont know if thats a real word). ANY help is appreciated. : )

Terry,
I have terrible allergies too. Nothing worked for me. Then my wife's mom, who is an allergist, suggested I try to eat the local honey. The local honey is full of pollen and the intense levels of pollen actually builds up your immune system against the allergy. I tried it this summer and it was a miracle. No more pill popping and water eyes and runny nose and constant sneezing. It was a miracle. So seriously, go to the grocery and get LOCAL honey. It has to be local to work since pollen differs everywhere. Eats lots of it. It works. Good Luck!

Good luck with it. It sounds weird and I don't believe a lot of that weird medicine stuff but it really does work. I wonder why no one else mentions it if it really works. Then I thought about how many millions of dollars are made by big pharmacy companies pushing their allergy pills and sprays and I thought... Ahhh, that's the reason.
Good ol cheap honey is all you need. Hope it works!
