Default Street level photos

What does everyone think of the Google street level photos, which shows photos of virtually every street in Albuquerque. I checked it out and sure enough there was a photo of the front of my house and of my street.

Interesting link, thanks for the heads up on that one, observe. My car is actually in the drive and my neighbor's infernal pink flamingos are in view.

I think it is very interesting. It would have been easier for me to gather info on ABQ from afar if this had been available earlier. However, it does have a certain creepiness to it. Although, I like to see everybody else's neighborhood, I'm not sure if I like seeing my house so clearly! According to today's ABQ Journal article, you can have your house removed for privacy reasons.

Just think where the technology will be in 5, 10 years from now. Now that is REALLY kind of scary. Privacy will be lost altogether.

P.S. ALTHOUGHHHHH, I just looked at clear, concise, vivid photos of my old house and old(er) apartment in ABQ and...wow...if you think I have been babbling about being homesick for ABQ before, holy cow that REALLY made me homesick for ABQ. Hey, that is MY HOUSE...what are those other people doing in it? Glad to see that they kept all of the landscaping though that I worked over years to get just so.

Sigh...I miss that house...I miss ABQ...

No Ghetto or Nob Hill pictures - ffffeh!

Nice that they are putting elevation contours now that trails.com blew away topozone.com.

What next? A picture of my daughter's panty drawer?

If you want to see my house, get off your duff and walk down here. I'll not have armchair voyeurs lustilly eye-raping my stoop!

I'm confused.

Probably nothing new.

I can find a map ... but where do I find street level photos?

Its nice when you're looking to relocate to a new area. Scary as all get out when you think about the invasion of privacy. The latter holds for more weight for me. I could live without it.
