Using Spanish symbols on your computer
Both mortimer and I have some tricks to add Spanish symbols to your posts.
mortimer's differ from mine, but as EnjoyEP suggested in another thread, maybe our lists would be helpful to all of you.
The only way this works on my computer is to use the number pad at the right side of the keyboard, not the numbers at the top.
ñ - Hold down ALT and type 164 = ñ
Ñ - Hold down ALT and type 165 = Ñ
é - Hold down ALT and type 130 = é
É - Hold down ALT and type 144 = É
í - Hold down ALT and type 161 = í
á - Hold down ALT and type 160 = á
ó - Hold down ALT and type 162 = ó
ú - Hold down ALT and type 163 = ú
¿ - Hold down ALT and type 168 = ¿
¡ - Hold down ALT and type 173 = ¡
Have fun!
P.S. There may be some others, but these are the common ones and all the Spanish symbols I have.

Apparently according to ABQSunseeker there may be a problem if anyone is using a MAC.

gee, I am so glad I have a Mac...
Option e followed by e = e acute (é) - no numbers to remember!

As a former Spanish teacher, I feel compelled to provide the following Mac info:
accent = option + "e"+ the vowel
ñ = option + "n"
ü = option + "u"
¿ = shift + option + "?"
¡ = option + !
¡Buena suerte!

Is there a way to do all of this on a laptop? (No number pad).
