jrod2828 worries:

> I didn't mean to start a NE side/NW side war. ...
> ... didn't want to start a big argument ....

I think you mis-con-screwed. There's no war going on, just passion.

> ... but you guys did put out some good information.

Hey Spanky! You wanted opinions and go them. Now you are wiser for it.

Obviously, you'll go where you like and be happy there for having made an informed decision. Lots o' people in other areas make decisions that suit their lifestyle(s) - some stupid, some just personal.

Hmmm... I had to deal with Jrod as my nickname in high school.. couldn't stand it. Obviously, as you can see, it's grown on me. Spanky?.. I'm not sure if that one will stick.

Hey, I hope I didn't sound argumentative. If so I didn't mean it.

Anyway, abqsunport's post above illustrates that there are compelling reasons to live in various parts of Albuquerque depending on what you value. Albuquerque is nice in that it really has something for everyone (or, at least, almonst everyone).

I hope that my post and finmaq's and abqsunport's illustrate just how complicated the neighborhood situation is here thus why one shouldn't just 'jump in at the deep end'.

Spend some time here, even if only a couple of weeks, and you will likely be a lot happier with where you put your roots and your money down.
