LC Girl!
We could probably learn alot from each other! I have been trying to get to SC for about a year now. My maternal family settled in SC 14 generations ago, and I love the family root feeling. My birth roots are in NM, however, and I can appreciate your vision. It is truly a special place if you have the right frame of mind. It really isn't about the schools, culture, people, religion, food, etc. as much as it is about connecting to your inner being. When you follow your heart, things really do turn out well. Life is an adventure, not a final stop... |

You are so right PHX, if you don't feel an emotional connection, it's just not worth the effort...life is so precious and shouldn't be wasted.. Thank you for taking the time to respond and anything I can help with as far as SC I will give it my best effort. I live about 20 miles inland from the Atlantic and know the Coast and the Lowcountry pretty well, my daughter is moving upstate so I will have an "insider" there also..~lol~ thanks again..hey, where is your family from??
