I was almost positive I had a job lined up, but it fell through after a second interview. Not enough experience with technology.

Although it is a slight setback I am back on the job trail...unfortunately though being so far away it is all online for me. I have extensively searched jobing.com(which has been very helpful) and some classifieds in the paper.

I don't know if anyone here would be of any assistance, where I live though most jobs Ive ever had have come through reccomendations and word of mouth. So I was wondering if anyone possibly knew of a good lead?

I have alot of experience serving, so could anyone tell me what some of the better places, with decent tip making, are to apply or inquire about?

I have supervisor experience and head cook experience in a long term care facility. I found one rehabilitation center hiring, but if anyone knows of anything else Id appreciate it.

I also am trying for call-center customer service jobs.

I am very open to any sort of entry level position, I am looking for something somewhat professional, I have alot of experience and general knowledge in different fields. Anything involoving entertainment, reading, serving, receptionists, care-taking.

I don't expect any sure finds, just looking for a few tip-offs!

Ashley, check out Fidelity Investments, they are hiring hundreds right now. Eventually their new center in Mesa Del Sol will employ 1200.

Also you might try a networking tool like LinkedIn.

We'll be in the same boat when we get down there. "Luckily" (??) for us we'll actually be there when we start looking but certainly don't expect it to be much easier.

Good luck. If I run across something helpful I'll try to pass it along.

There's an ABQ restaurant thread...may give you lots of ideas of places to apply which may have good tip potential. Off the top of my head, Savoy, Slate Street Cafe, Artichoke Cafe, Scalo, Q Bar @ Hotel Albuquerque and Ambrosia

I know of server openings at Porky's Pride Real Pit BBQ. Tips are good, especially Fri, Sat nights.
