Default Looking for a good hair stylist/salon.

I'm a guy and my hair is longer than normal. Any recommendations on hair salons in town I can go to? Thanks

I don't know what kind of budget/style you're looking for, but I have always liked Aveda salons, and there is one in the SE and NE. Aveda tends to be a trendy place. I am a female, but there are plenty of male salon services (waxing, eyebrows, etc.).

I'm not that bothered about the price as long as I am happy with the end result. The only Aveda salons I could find with google were Mark Pardo - is that where you mean't?

Yes -- Mark Pardo. My friend had her hair cut at the Aveda school (505.294.5333) on Pennsylvania Ave NE, and she was really happy with it. But you might just want to go to Mark Pardo.

I second the Mark Pardo recommendation. I moved to ABQ in late 2005 and I've been going to Mark Pardo ever since then. They're well trained, professional, and reliable. Some of the stylists specialize in chemicals/color, cuts, up-dos, men's styles, etc. Mark Pardo places a huge emphasis on education and trends. I've had services at Juan Tabo, Paseo & Wyoming, and Coors Bypass. They are all superb!
