Sprawl is HUGE on the east side. Especially north and east of the Montgomery/Pennsylvania area. Basically, areas developed after two-car families became the norm are sprawl.

Technically, they are far worse than just about anything on the West side.

Think about it;

[1 house per 0.7 acres] or [10 houses per acre]

Which is worse?

One has more green space between houses, but it's still clearly
developed land and less attractive than naked desert.

( I like saying "naked." I don't know why. )
