Mimi's Cafe is open Thanksgiving, that's where my family and I are going to eat because my mom isn't into cooking too much

Then it wouldn't be a very good place to eat on Thanksgiving, there wouldn't be much of a selection I guess...

that isn't quite as bad as us eating Christmas dinner last year at Furrs in Amarillo...Not that was an experience, one I prefer not to have again!!
Tomorrow we leave for Texas (thankgiving with daughter and family) the next day it is a cruise to the Western Caribbean.

Just a follow-up...Mimi's was fully booked the entire day, but we went to St. Clair Winery and Bistro. The food was quite good as was the wine, but the absolute best part was the pecan pie!

I forgot all about Mimi's. I had TG dinner there once and it was very good Gee that winery sounds fabulous, I'm jealous!

[quote=Cade;5183072]Are there any good restaurants open on Thanksgiving (and possibly Christmas) in ABQ? Due to work commitments holidays with family will be out, but we would like to find somewhere nice to have dinner. It is just the two of us, with no kids.

Suggestions? I know this is from last year, but for anyone looking this year, try the Pueblo Harvest Cafe for Thanksgiving. We went last year and loved it.

So funny! This wasn't in Albquerque, but on one Thansgiving my Mom and I were driving up to KY for my brother's wedding. We had Thanksgiving at Waffle House (southeast chain), open every day except Christmas.

On a more serious note to the person who asked the queston; I would suggest checking with the upscale hotels or casinos. Like Hyatt or Marriott
