Default Tingley Arena, whats the deal?

So is Tingley going to be tore down and replaced or moved? What exactly is going on? If they build a new stadium where will it be built and will it hold more people?

I dont think anyone really knows whats going on but I heard that the Gov. wants the build a large venue in its place-a multi-purpose type venue.

We went to the rodeo, the seats were so crammed that we could not sit straight without disjointing our knee caps! It needs to be torn down and a new state of the art "new barn" needs to be in it's place.

I hope they tear it down and build a much more roomy larger arena.

I'm seeing Metallica there in October. I like the fact that it's a smaller venue, but I fear that it will be a cramped uncomfortable mess

I went to a concert at Tingley last Saturday and it was horrible, the concert was good but the seats were cramped and it was so hot in there and I went to a B-ball game earlier this year and anytime someone walks by they are blocking your view, it really is a crappy arena, they need to bulldoze it and rebuild.

They need to tear down Tingley quickly and build a multi-use stadium that holds more people.

The city is studying building a new downtown arena. The biggest problem I see is the study is for a 12K seat arena...basically what Tingley holds. If the city wants to use the new arena to bring in new and bigger acts, they need to look at building a 16K+ arena.
