Default Albuquerque,Lost student shot, critically injured

Lost student shot, critically injured .... What I don't understand is how , you end up here @ 3:00am looking for something to eat?? on a back road where there's a party going on ????? . Unless you eat Meth .....

So you can stop freaking out... There are no sniper's out there, looking to kill you... 99% of the time they know each other..

Everyone please take a deep breath and relax....

What you say does indeed make a lot of sense. As usual the local media devotes 30 seconds to the story and tells you nothing - (the local fear-mongers at work).

Selling fear sure does work. Story at 10...

Cheers

Default ABQ News

Yes, most of these shootings are gangbangers going after gangbangers. The ABQ News does a good job on making it more of a story then it is. I guess the ratings war in motion! There are areas in ABQ a newcomer needs to be careful in especially at night but for the most part, I'd travel pretty much in most of ABQ and not be concerned about it. I know where not to go but a newcomer wouldn't so I would just say to someone just moving there, get feedback from the locals, they will tell you where to go and not go.
