Thumbs up Container Dwellings from ABQ/Corrales

I've seen container projects before, but an $8000 home/apartment/condo/tin can sounds interesting.

Keep in mind the target audience for these live in awful conditions, so no matter how you slice it... they are an improvement.

Considering 350 sf condos were going for $150,000 to $300,000 in Seattle I think these would be great. I know my parents, who were going to go full-time RVing but got side-tracked taking care of my grandparents after selling their home, would love to have something other than their RV to live in and this would allow them to afford it.

And when I was a kid, we lived in a mobile home that wasn't much bigger (if it was even bigger at all) and it worked out fine... I think its a fine idea... long as they have windows. ;-)
