Nice welcome, everybody. I'm in Enchanted Hills (about as far north as you can get) and my commute to north ABQ is about 25 minutes. If you work downtown, there's a RailRunner station in Bernalillo. It's a newer development, and I like it. The commute from southern or central Rio Rancho would be a lot more stop-and-go.

I suggest you look at Rio Rancho. I don't think you will find newish homes in your price range, but you might find older homes in your price range. (not that Rio Rancho is that old but you said your home is 20 yrs old and you want younger than that - RR has been building since the 60s I believe).

Guys my husband works with on the west side of the base (near the airport) have about a 40-45 min commute from RR. I think the commute will depend on where in RR you live.

oops consider me corrected - how is this for being in your price range?

Try using the search engine on that site for various home listings.
