Rio Rancho Schools - Closed or delayed or not?
I was on KOAT and saw Sandoval County (in general, not Bernalillo, which is still there) was delayed 2 hours. Yes, I'm 100% sure I didn't make a mistake. I decided to check once again before the kids started getting ready for bed to make sure it wasn't closed. Now I see nothing about it. UGH! I don't see any news on rrps.net or any other news site. Think it was a mistake? Or something else? It would be nice to know whether or not we can all sleep in tomorrow. My oldest has mid-terms and wants to get them done with!
Thanks for listening to me vent!

What a bunch of bone heads...there is still nothing on the Rio Rancho Public Schools website. I've gotten the phone call and see it on KOAT.

You know... Albuquerque Public schools and Rio Rancho Public schools, are pretty pathetic.. it snows 2 freakin inches and classes get cancelled, in Los Alamos and Espanola they received over 15 inches last week.. and still had classes, same as this week yesturday Espanola had over a foot of snow and classes still went on.. I think school districts panic and over exadurate way to much.. its still making me laugh, I have several cousins in Denver that told me it takes over 2 feet of snow to delay school there.

Dude... there is a serious safety issue with school buses and ice/snow. Two inches is enough to get a bus in a spin.
What's with this "buddy" talk?
