Nothing new about this Morti....as it happens to all of us. Just reciently a ''moron became irate'' because i asked in the El Paso forums ''what is El Paso going to be getting from prez obama's stimilus package '' so he berated me for not supporting detroit and buffalo in the El Paso forums...lol...
I always suspected you would be back, Mortimer. By the way, you rec'd several nominations for high office on C-D here City-Data Presidential Candidate in case you want to know how people thought of you. I actually nominated you for president, however, if you continue to beat up on the Rail Runner I may have to withdraw that and nominate you for a cabinet level pos'n instead [and not the Sec'y of Transportation].

Actually, I don't beat up on RR. I rail ( heh ) against how it
was executed and financed (citizens railroaded).
I also won't tolerate inflated claims regarding its success.
Since this is not the thread, I won't detail it here, but
go ahead and open one of the many RR threads and post
something I disagree with. See what happens.
I *am* on record stating that I would have voted for its initial
funding had I (we) been axed. I also voted for transit funding
just this last election.
I also *will* ride it to go to Santa Fe in the future and likely
not ever drive unless I'm going on to Taos or something.
I just don't understand people who send nasty DM's. I feel sorry for them, they must not have a life. Ignore them - hit the delete button. They aren't worth your effort.
Two posters who I have always enjoyed as well who I haven't seen posts from also is Clairz and Devin Bent.
Hi, Double H--I'm still around. I just got all worn out defending and/or pointing out positive things about Clovis. The people who hate the place have plenty to say so I thought I'd just let them say it. I decided to sum it up once and for all last September by saying come with a positive attitude and you will probably have a positive experience. Don't, and you won't. I figured there was no need to say anything else.
He moved to Alaska silly. ( Are we having a "senior moment?" )
