Qwest wireless is just part of it. We switched over to Verizon based on what Qwest told us. However, each month the add my husband's cell number back onto their billing and try to charge us for it...but, Verizon now owns the number. So, wireless has a physical building.....where?

You are in luck - they are called "Qwest Solution Center's" - Hope they live up to their name
They are at the Mall's - The Coronado one is near JC Penney's

So, it's a kiosk, not a real office?

Yes, the one in Coronado is a kiosk, but they took my returned modem with no problem. Nice guy working there that day.
I am sooooooo ticked at Qwest right now. Talk about incompetent. They have my name on the account as Na Na. ????? Took 4 phone calls to get it changed on the billing side...except they spelled it wrong...and it still shows as Na Na on the service side. I'm not looking forward to calling AGAIN.
They converted me to the 7 MB speed internet....and disconnected me in the process. Took 2 days to get that one fixed.
They entered the amount wrong on an over the phone bill payment and overdrew my account in the process. At least they credited my account the amount of the bank's overdraft fee.
Yep. I really hate Qwest.

I'm sorry you have problems with Qwest, too. I'm not even sure what to do to solve our issues. Maybe if I call Verizon and DirecTV and have them get involved it'll help. Verizon now owns all of our cell #s, but each month they add my husband's cell # on the bill. We no longer have a home land line. We pay Verizon directly anyway. And, they keep charging up for DirecTV even though we've been paying them directly for months. Whenever you call Qwest, they claim to take care of it, but never do. And, when you call back they claim you never called about it before. I wish I had a lawyer friend, I'd take their butts to court.

According to the tech guys who came out on two service calls, the "office" is outsourced to the Philipines. The tech guys hate calling them as badly as we do. That made me feel a little better. At least the tech guys know what they're doing (or the ones who answered my service calls did).

That doesn't surprise me at all. Too many companies outsource and don't give a hoot about customer service.
But, I'm glad the tech guys that answered your service calls knew their stuff.

We have had problems with Qwest since they took over in this area (West Side and Rio Rancho) seven or eight years ago (?). Anyway, 10 years ago it was US West, then Quest took over.
We made a move form the East Coast to Rio Rancho in 1998. Made bids on houses, looked at houses during several visits. My broker agent placed bids for us and got us what I considered a good deal. Mortgage issues went smooth. Moving over 2,000 miles and 20,000+ pounds, water service, gas service etc.
Every aspect of our move went perfect, as planned, on time, except for the phone service (US West, now Quest). I have been involved in a class action suits, but rejected the settlement, I want to appear in court. I have been slammed, continually signed up for crap which I did not want. We have just filed complaints with the FCC and the state regulatory commission, several times over the years. Had services applied to the wrong phone etc. (We had two phone lines for about 8 years).
This was not a first move for us, we'ved moved overseas a few times and various parts of the US.
(Actually, my wife did all the complaints, letters etc... The phones are in her name.)
