Default Jim Villanucci Could Win

Thanks, that was fun. Hopefully a few more people will see this and vote.

Looks like Jim would NARROWLY win - 51% to 49% - if we could win over the undecided voters and those who don't know who Jim is!

Actually for 72% of city-daters to even KNOW who Jim V. is indicates the intelligence of posters on this forum (I mean, counting the YES, NO, and MAYBE categories...28% said they don't know who Jim is). In the talk radio biz, most people don't know the names of local talk hosts.....

Jim is a great guy , but what it comes down to is , if you're a liberal ,you probably don't like him and thus wouldn't vote for him , If you are more right leaning, then he's your guy. Although he has moved toward the middle in recent years. Hes down to earth and a straight shooter

out

Dan, liberal or conservative: both would have trouble. I agree he is down to earth, but would have trouble connecting with either side.

We could do the poll also for Don Davis of Vanguard Media (KQNM 1550 and KRKE 1600). Don hosted the Tea Party in Albuquerque yesterday on KQNM in a four hour live broadcast heard worldwide on the Internet. Don and his team (Jim Scarintino and others) conducted the broadcast as completely non-partisan and non-corporate. This is quite an acheivement in broadcasting -- to not allow Democrats, Republican, or Corporate interests to promote themselves during a 4 hour live remote broadcast!

I do know who he is and think he's a bit of a jerk on the air. That's his style, but I don't care for it. He cuts people off if they don't agree with his viewpoint, he's sarcastic with callers, and is narrow-minded. Not the type of person we need in office here. Oh wait -- maybe he'd fit right in!

If you don't know who he is, how can you say he is a jerk? Talk about speaking out of both sides of your mouth at once!!! As for narrow minded, can you explain why you think he is narrow minded? I happen to agree with part of what you say, but I also know much of this is for entertainment purposes...

If you reread my post, it says I DO know who he is, so I'm not speaking out of both sides of my mouth. What irks me the most, is that he ridicules callers who don't agree with him. He really doesn't listen to what they are saying, which is what an open-minded person would do. A narrow-minded person cuts them off and moves on. When he speaks with someone that agrees with his viewpoint, he gives that person ample air-time.

sorry, you are right, I mis-read what you posted. As for narrow-minded, again, this is part of an act..Do I agree? not really, if I were still living in NM, would I vote for him? I am not sure, but I really don't consider him narrow-minded..
